Mayweather drew a record 4.6 million PPV purchases for his fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and his fight with McGregor will almost without doubt top that.
McGregor, the biggest name in UFC World , has assured to knock out undefeated boxing legend Mayweather, and boldly had a giant as in landscape describing his extreme happiness drawn up across his training gym wall.

The stage is set for McGregor’s first professional boxing fight, with the MMA / UFC fighter set to switch the Octagon for the ring and accept boxing rules.
Both fighters will wear boxing gloves and the use of legs, which is ordinary in UFC, is outlawed.
The session will be 12 rounds of three minutes, should it go the distance.
Paulie Malignaggi left Conor McGregor’s training camp this week in leaving as a sparring associate due to photos being leaked of him getting the worst of it during a sparring session. While Malignaggi keeps up that he defeat McGregor’s backside during their last sparring session on Tuesday, few people believe him due to the leaked photos.
It seems like there’s some acrimony between Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi. Originally, Paulie Malignaggi had been saying what a nice guy McGregor, 29, was when he joined his training camp. But after leaving his camp this week, it seems like Malignaggi left on bad terms.
Malignaggi should have had his thinking cap on when he was asked to help McGregor as a sparring partner. It would sound painfully apparent that the reason why McGregor wanted Malignaggi to spar is so he could mourn on him, and then talk boastingly about it afterwards. It helps Conor McGregor that the photographers that leaked photos of the sparring sessions leaked ones that were laudatory to him.
We’ve seen stuff like this in the past. David Haye and Deontay Wilder sparring years ago before Wilder became a champion. A share of their sparring session was released, and it came into view to be edited to look approving to Haye. Wilder didn’t
get bothered about it like Malignaggi has about the photos that were leaked. You can say this.
Malignaggi is affluent that only 2 photos were leaked instead of video of him getting the worst of it. Edited video would be far worse for Malignaggi if it only showed McGregor’s high points. It wouldn’t be unexpected if video is released in the near future, as the McGregor-McGregor fight is only 3 weeks away. The more stuff that comes out that makes McGregor look conceivable, the better the fight will do on PPV.

Conor McGregor was not using Cortez’s knowledge to learn how to curve the rules, it was made clear.
Paulie Malignaggi left Conor McGregor’s camp this week in leaving as a fighting partner due to photos being leaked of him getting the worst of it during a fighting session. Ladies & Gentlemen!- Hello and Welcome. I’m here with some latest and exclusive news from Mayweather vs McGregor Fight. Four Conference of World Press Tour has finished. The fight will be broadcast on Live & Exclusively on ShowtimePPV (Pay-Per-View).
Those looking for positives suggested occasional fans who haven’t been disclosed to boxing might become delighted with the sport. OK, after four break of the Mayweather & McGregor world press tour, it is time to tremble. Mayweather & McGregor quickly has turned into some kind of bad burlesque act resorting to culvert language to advertise a bout that everyone already knows about. It is advertised as a super fight boxing match. But what we have seen so far has little to do with boxing.
Instead of those fighting on Saturday’s fight card on Long Island were respectfully towards their opponent and looked forward to showing their strategy. This is what boxing has been about 99.9 per cent of the time.
The Mayweather & McGregor World Press Tour actually might have done more harm than good.
McGregor, Mayweather deserve approval of knowing how to sell a fight
Fans were eagerly waiting for their desired boxer and fighter. They enjoyed the trash- talk of their speech. It’s something similar to Mayweather’s own development of 10 years ago, when he once and for all found the voice and personality to match his capacity by changing his byname to “Money,” beating the then-face of the sport, Oscar De La Hoya, and launching a decadelong
run as boxing’s most significant character.
The diversity this time is that Conor McGregor, who became 29 on Friday, has such a dark horse chance to beat the 40-year-old Floyd Mayweather (49-0). The Irishman barely devoted time to the particular of his game plan during animated stops that drew fans of better than 10,000 to Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and at last in London.
Mayweather vs McGregor may be a absurdity but Scottish football can learn from the advertising
Do not sell the bratwurst, sell the crackle. This would make for a somewhat baffle sign inside your local butcher’s but in the world of commerce it makes superb sense. An honest bratwurst sitting in a supermarket fridge may not be much to look at but placed in the backgroundstar of a summer cookout or a Sunday morning fry-up then it all of a sudden holds greater claim. This is about advertising the helpful benefits of an item or an event rather than just trying to castigate the transparent old product itself.
This is something game does better in some areas than others. On paper, next month’s super fight in Las Vegas, Nevada between Mayweather vs McGregor Fight seems like a amusing match-up between apparently the best pound-for-pound boxer of all time – now he’s 40 years old and in semi-retirement – and a MMA fighter who has never mix up a boxing glove in his life. Once again , Hello & Welcome to our website. Here you can get all kinds of latest news, updates, odds, predictions, press tour news, face to face words of McGregor and Mayweather boxing fight which is going to be held on 26 th August, 2017. It’s about 41 days 22 hours later from now. So , I know that you’re eagerly waiting for this heavyweight boxing match, Let’s have some fresh news & updates about the fight.
One day after he completely bombed in Brooklyn, McGregor bounced back with his best performance of the tour.It happened to be his 29th birthday, which is just fantastic timing. He bragged about changing the game at a young age (and in a very short amount of time), but also showed humility. “I’m in shock every day,” he said. His point was less, “Look how amazing I am,” and more, “You can change your life if you put your mind to it.”McGregor is at his promotional best when he’s not trying too much, and that was the case Friday. He spoke with sincerity but still fit in great one-liners on Floyd Mayweather’s age and his decision to wear lifted shoes during the tour to appear taller than he is.He blamed the impending destruction of Mayweather’s legacy on his manager Leonard Ellerbe and thoroughly roasted Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza again — who did one of the worst things you can do at a combat sports news conference: wear a look that lets everyone know the insults are getting to you.
McGregor also brought it back to the fight at the end (there actually is one at the end of all this!), saying, “The bulls— is now over. Six weeks, I sleep this fool.”Mayweather, on the other hand, was boring, overly dramatic and dumb enough to scream a homophobic slur at the top of his lungs in the middle of his speech.Playing the heel can be a great move and Mayweather did it well at times during this tour, but by the fourth stop, his material was old, his delivery was terrible and you just wanted him to sit down and stop talking. This was the most convincing round of the tour to me — and the most important, since it had to make up for the disaster that was Brooklyn.
Other than his crazy white faux mink coat, McGregor was a total failure at the forgettable New York tour stop. But he felt right at home in London, the closest he would get to his beloved Ireland on this tour, and he had a big bounce-back tour stop. Once again he was the crowd favorite and he seemed to feed off it. He also seemed in a more happy-go-lucky mood than the apparently angry Mayweather, who has no reason to be angry when he is about to make hundreds of millions of dollars for an easy fight. But I digress.
McGregor celebrated his 29th birthday with an actual positive spin on things for a change, counting his blessings for being able to go from nowhere to the top of combat sports and into a megafight in just four years. Even when Mayweather belittled him, McGregor laughed it off and said he was about to “quadruple my net worth.” He has a reason to be happy.
“I can’t be racist. Some of my best friends are black,” is a nauseatingly familiar response to accusations of racism. But now thanks to MMA star Conor McGregor we have a fresh twist on this hackneyed defence.
Having faced accusations of racism for comments at previous press events alongside Floyd Mayweather, who he takes on in a controversial boxing match in August, the fighter chose to clarify things and address his critics head on Thursday evening by claiming he can’t be racist because he’s “half black from the bellybutton down.” As if that wasn’t enough he continued by offering a gift to his “beautiful black female fans” and then grinding his crotch against the air whilst sporting a gaunt smirk over wildly masticating teeth.
The bravado, insults and cocky swaggering are at times as much a part of boxing as the actual fighting. But here McGregor has stepped over a line he doesn’t seem to be able to see. Speaking to press after his comments at the Barclays Centre, the UFC champion defended himself once again, saying “I am a very multicultural individual. I do not have any ill feelings towards anyone. I do not even see colour.” But his comments and actions have caused offence whether they’ve come from a place of ill feeling or not.
Racism isn’t just a hatred of other races, it’s also the acceptance that our division into races is natural or acceptable. McGregor is under the impression that the media is saying he is against black people. What people have been pointing out is that he has now on several occasions deployed well worn racist catchphrases with seeming ignorance. In Los Angeles and Toronto he told Mayweather to “dance for me, boy”, a phrase with deep links to anti-black racism in the United States. The fact that he is oblivious to that history is very much part of the problem. His obliviousness allows him to do things like objectify black women as he did on stage at the Barclays Centre with apparently zero self-awareness. In our social context that kind of ignorance is dangerously racist in itself.
The travelling circus of a press tour for unbeaten Floyd Mayweather’s 50th career fight with the UFC star Conor McGregor alighted in the UK for its final phase on the four-day sojourn on Friday – but there was no let up in the war of words.
As the protracted pantomime took place on stage in front of over 10,000 baying fans at Wembley, McGregor and Mayweather traded profanities. “Four years ago I fought in London at The Forum in front of about 500 people. Now here I am about to quadruple my net worth with one half a fight. Sign me up. No one is going to kick, knee or elbow. And it’s against this little b****,” the UFC fighter said.
To promote the fight, the two are doing a four-day, four-city, three-country tour, which began Tuesday at Staples Center in Los Angeles. They’ll be in Toronto on Wednesday, Brooklyn on Thursday and London on Friday.
The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor superfight will be held Aug. 26 in Las Vegas. Floyd Mayweather will attempt to improve to 50-0 in the fight, while Conor McGregor will try to stun the combat sports world with a win in his first professional boxing fight.
The next tour stop will be in Toronto on July 12. The video below will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET.

5:42: Mayweather and McGregor go face to face. Mayweather is staring a hole through McGregor while McGregor is talking to him and dancing side to side.
5:39: Round 1 before they start talking goes to McGregor. He comes out dressed sharply while Mayweather is wearing his Money Team hooded sweatshirt and a hat that says 48.
5:37: Mayweather is making his way out through the crowd, to light cheers.
5:33: Here comes McGregor to a thunderous ovation. The UFC lightweight champion is soaking in the roars of the crowd. He has a big smile on his face.
5:31: A great promotional video is being shown. Mayweather and McGregor are about to come out. Goosebumps.
5:27: The breakdowns by Ranallo, Showtime Boxing analyst Paulie Maglianaggi and MMA analyst Brendan Schaub are enjoyable. They are really highlighting McGregor, showing every way he can win the fight, both mentally and physically.
5:23: Showtime Boxing’s Mauro Ranallo says the press conference will begin in a few minutes.
5:20: Kicking off the Mayweather vs. McGregor festivities is a performance by recording artist Aloe Blacc of his new single “King Is Born.” What a waste of time. People aren’t coming to see a singer perform. They want to see Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.
5:15 p.m.: The press conference should be starting in moments. If you had the press conference starting on time, you lost in the office pool.
A large number of the fans assembled for the LA press conference arrived either decked out in UFC merch or proudly waving Irish flags, and Mayweather even had a flag lobbed at him as he made his way to the stage, surrounded by heavies.
Showtime chief Stephen Espinoza was roundly booed as soon as he began wittering on about Mayweather’s legacy, while UFC president Dana White was cheered loudly when he introduced McGregor.
And then there was the reaction to the two men themselves. Mayweather was repeatedly drowned out with jeers, while McGregor only had to raise his hand to the air to be greeted with the sound of thousands singing his name.
Mayweather attempted to sabotage his rival
The most revealing line of this press conference? It wasn’t anything said by either one of the suits — Espinoza or Richard Sturm — and it certainly wasn’t anything said by White, who treated the LA crowd to all of about 12 words.
Nope. Predictably, it was something said by McGregor.
Conor clearly wasn’t meant to have a mic…
After McGregor had finished with his impromptu speech, Mayweather took to the mic.
The undefeated boxer launched into a clearly pre-organised speech, with members of his entourage chanting his slogan back at him, rapgod style. But he hadn’t reckoned on something: nobody had taken McGregor’s microphone away from him.
This fight is going to be political
After the fight, the massive PR operations around both men quickly sprung into action. Some chalked it up as a flawless victory for Mayweather. Others said that McGregor wiped the floor with his rival. Either way: it was difficult to get a straight answer on who got the better of the first press conference.
